Comment by Maria November 5, 2008 @ 12:28 amPresident Barack Obama.
Three simple, beautiful words.
Comment by Sharktattoo November 5, 2008 @ 12:37 amI can’t decide who I am in this photo; peaceful (Obama), warm and fuzzy (child), or ecstatic (Dad). Or all three. Yes, all three.
Comment by sklipper November 5, 2008 @ 12:43 amI have enjoyed this blog so much these past couple of weeks when friends, strangers, colleagues have said negative, downright mean things about Obama (and Biden). But this blog was my happy place when things got on my nerves or made me upset.
And that picture is definitely how I feel:) This is absolutely amazing.
Comment by lesley November 5, 2008 @ 12:49 amThat is EXACTLY how I feel.
Nearly everyone in our common room was crying.
Comment by Louisa November 5, 2008 @ 12:50 amWell, we can listen to Sen McCain, and unite. Unite under a African american President, or we can unite under our next President. Both, I think, wound be good.
Comment by redheaded November 5, 2008 @ 12:53 amIf someone was crying then it’d be exactly how I feel. I’m so fucking happy.
Comment by Jenny November 5, 2008 @ 1:24 amOh man, I wish I was that kid and I could just give PRESIDENT-ELECT OBAMA a huge hug and thank him for what he’s done (and is going to continue to do) for this country.

Comment by abby November 5, 2008 @ 10:25 amI think today…I’d like to imagine people rolling through the streets with their windows blasting Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t you worry about a thing.”
Yes, we have work to do…but we earned this moment.
Comment by kaffeecat November 5, 2008 @ 12:58 pmYes we did!
