Eliza Mulcahy (Founder, Editor) is an Emerson College student living in Boston, MA. She is originally from southern NH, where she developed an affinity for theatre. After realizing that she’s not very artistically creative, she decided to pursue the career of stage management. While working at Emerson’s IT department one day, she grew bored and decided to look at pictures of the Democratic nominee. She realized that the ones in which he was holding children were especially adorable, and this blog was born. If you’re a director/producer/company in Boston and have a possible stage management gig, contact her. She likes working.

Claire Johnson (Press Relations, Pun Approver) is also an Emerson College student living in Boston, MA. She, however is originally from Chicago, where she fell in nerdy, nerdy love with CNN. Whenever Eliza turns on the television in their apartment, it is always tuned to channel 17. Sadly, she does not get to watch Anderson, Wolf, Campbell, or Jack as much as she’d like, because she is so busy with Emerson Independent Video, of which she is News Director. She is majoring in Broadcast Journalism, Management, and Political Science, and if you’ve got some awesome contacts with a major news organization, she’ll buy you a camel named Sally.

Sometimes we forget that this is about the future. You have reminded us.
Thank you thank you. These photos are all amazing. Made me cry. You guys are awesome. I don’t know anyone working in the theater or the newsroom. Please put a links to facebook, etc, so we can spread this around.

Comment by Dena October 28, 2008 @ 10:03 pmI’m pushing 60 now and I’ve been feeling bitter and cynical. You make me think that maybe my years of social activism were not in vain after all. “America, America, God shed his grace on thee, and crowned thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.” May it finally be true! Keep hope alive!
Hi there! I want to thank you for such a wonderful website. In fact, you’ve inspired me to write a story on my own blog regarding how Barack Obama has been able to reach through to people of all demographics, to give us something to look forward to; a hopeful future. I used a couple of your pictures, I hope you don’t mind!
